Is a membership to American Atheists. Even though I’m in Canada now I’m still a US American and the struggle to make atheism an acceptible world view is exceptionally important to me as is the separation of church and state. I urge everyone who is able to join. And don’t forget about the AA national convention in Atlanta next year!

Where in Canada are you?
I’m in Kelowna, British Columbia. It’s a big change from Mississippi.
I’ve been fortunate enough to visit Canada several times (Vancouver, Victoria, Toronto, etc.) and have to agree that it is such a nice change from Mississippi. Enjoy!
Thanks, vjack! It’s great up here in the Great White North. Lots of snow and social acceptance (so far). We’ll see how that goes when I start a local freethinkers group. ;)
What brought you to Canada?
I get to Kelowna every now and then. If you ever get to Calgary give a shout.
Kate, my peripatetic friend,
I live for a while in Michigan in a place I could swim across a river to Canada. This was during the war in Vietnam and I was coming to draft age and so I practiced the swim often. I always thought of Canada as a refuge.
besos y abrazos,
Mims
I gave myself the same gift. I don’t think I’ll make it to the convention though.
