God is punishing Canada for her sodomite sins.
These eight young men died for Canada’s sins.
We will picket this Community Public Memorial
Service in religious protest and warning; to wit:

It is a dangerous thing to live in Canada under the
curse of God for promoting same-sex marriage,
and for criminalizing Gospel preaching, and for
jailing preachers who preach what the Bible says
about the sinfulness of sodomy and bestiality.

In just two days the Westboro Baptist Church plans on crossing the border and ruining what is meant to be a personal and heartfelt moment for the mourners, all for their deluded and litigious pleasure. I’ve reported their trip to Canadian customs and to a few local papers but I’ve not had any word back. If nothing else, the families of the victims deserve to know what to expect when they pay their last respects to their sons, fathers and brothers.
Please forgive my ignorance.
Does Canada have similar laws to the First Amendment of the US Constitution when it comes to free speech? If not, could that be used to prevent this protest from happening?
Maybe somebody from the Patriot Guard Riders knows a similar Canadian group that could assist? I’ll send an e-mail to let the Montana chapter know about this as they are the closest chapter to Sparwood.
With it being so close to the date of the service (today) no promises can be made but I have been informed some PGR members close to that part of BC have been informed of the planned protest. Hopefully they can assist.
I’ve also learned that Westboro tends to show up at about 10% of their advertised protests. Hopefully that will be the case this time.

A few months back the Westboro Batshit Church planned on picketing the funeral of a knifing victim on a Greyhound bus. Customs agents had orders to turn any of them back at the border, so it is likely that this policy would continue. Certainly their personal safety would be in doubt should they actually succeed in entering Canada.
Don’t you just love their ability to take completely unconnected, independent, tragic events and couple them with their desire to see harm come to those that do not share their own barbaric and twisted belief system without establishing cause and effect?
I didn’t realize that Canada was a hotbed (no pun intended) of gay rights, same sex marriages and various and sundry other forms of human degradation that would naturally be offensive to our Baptist brethren. If we didn’t have such staunch defenders of the faith like the Westboro brotherhood, there’s little doubt that our own rigorous standards of purity and morality would be affected. After all, they’re right there on our Northern border and some of their putrescence would undoubtedly seek down on us. Right on, brothers; smite those Canadian heathens with your mighty sword.
