I’m going this year thanks to a shady cabal and a scholarship. For those of you who aren’t in the know, TAM stands for The Amaz!ng Meeting and is hosted by the James Randi Educational Foundation. I wanted to go desperately but figured I’d have to wait for next year when a sponsorship landed on my proverbial doorstep. TAM is a great way to meet fellow skeptics and see a wealth of prominent presenters all in one place. If you can afford it, go. If you can’t, apply for a scholarship. Congrats on being able to go to TAM. I’d love to be able to go to the TAM in London this year (I’m a Brit), it’s just not physically possible – which is annoying me no end.
